How do I check my e-mail?

MPD Global offers support for a multiple methods of e-mail checking. This includes common protocols of “imap” and “pop” as well as a webmail system.

The primary, and supported, method of checking your e-mail is via our webmail system. Webmail can be accessed by pointing your browser to

Once you are presented with the login window, you will need to enter your login (once again, without the ‘’) and your password. Once your are logged in, you will see a standard webmail interface, with your folders on the left, and your inbox on the right. MPD Global currently uses a webmail program called “SquirrelMail” which supports address books, spell checking, attachments, auto-reply vacation messages, and all the other good stuff one expects from a webmail system. Please feel free to contact MPD Global if you are looking for a specific functionality, and we will let you know if we have it and support it.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WEBMAIL: Webmail is a browser-based e-mail system, and thus is governed by the rules of your specific browser. Unlike e-mail programs like Eudora, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. your e-mail session WILL TIME OUT after a certain period of time. This means that if you spend an hour writing an e-mail without spell-checking, or otherwise “using” the webmail interface, the server will think you simply left and close out your session… and you will lose your e-mail!
