I commonly write long e-mails, is there no way for me to use webmail to do this without it "timing out" on me?

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WEBMAIL: Webmail is a browser-based e-mail system, and thus is governed by the rules of your specific browser. Unlike e-mail programs like Eudora, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. your e-mail session WILL TIME OUT after a certain period of time. This means that if you spend an hour writing an e-mail without spell-checking, or otherwise “using” the webmail interface, the server will think you simply left and close out your session… and you will lose your e-mail!

A workaround does exist. If you log into your webmail, and click “options” and then “folders” you will find an option that says “auto refresh folder list” which will by default be set to “never.” If you set this option to anything other than never (ie, 10 minutes) your session should never time you out.
