I would like to use Outlook/Eudora/Thunderbird to check my e-mail. Is this possible?

MPD Global will work with all major imap or pop capable clients. Simply use your domain name as the server to connect to, your login name (again, without the ‘@example.com’) and password and you should be good to go.

MPD Global recommends Thunderbird, available as a free download from http://www.mozilla.org. To use Thunderbird, setup a new e-mail account (MPD Global recommends ‘IMAP’ vs. ‘POP’) with the options of your name and e-mail address, domain name as the incoming server, and your ISP’s provided smtp server as the outgoing server.

You’ll want to use your provided login name (again, without the ‘@example.com’) as the ‘incoming user name’ section and whatever your ISP has given you for your ‘outgoing user name’ section.

Once you have typed in your password as required, you should have full access to your e-mail account via an imap connection with the server. As a basic tutorial, simply click ‘check messages’ to check for new messages, and ‘Write’ as how to start a new message.

Beyond supporting your successful connection your e-mail system, MPD Global does not support advanced technical or operational inquiries into Mozilla Thunderbird.
